Earth_day_02[1]

I want to share with the world one of my many theories. I encourage you not to spend much time being offended with my theory. Whether you agree or disagree, I value your perspective, if you want to share it with me. I don’t have everything all figured out and that is why I am in search of answers. God requires us to have answers for our beliefs. And frankly, it’s embarrassing having no answers or having an answer that clearly reveals you don’t know God’s character and promises. However, I reserve the right to revise my theory upon revealed truth. God is still God and Judy is a work in progress where His Holy Spirit resides.

In this week’s sermon, the pastor professed that sickness is not necessarily the result of sin.   In my heart, I strongly disagree. Did I stand up in the service and declare my opposition. No, because I want to be a vessel that encourages unity and harmony. I think, he believes that some sickness is the result of sin, like maybe sexual sin can produce diseases such as herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV but mostly, it’s just your unfortunate luck.   He stated that God may or may not heal you, that it is in God’s control, not yours.

So here’s my theory. In the beginning was God.  Then He created man and after that He created woman for man, not as a lesser being but as a suitable companion, his equal.   In the Garden of Eden, life was perfect.   The only time, perfection existed on the earth! No sin, no sickness, no sorrow and no pain.   Then one day the serpent came along to beguile Eve.  She was persuaded to do something God asked her not to do.   On the upside…….she shared with her husband?  Regardless, disobedience became an earthly reality.   Disobedience was the first sin. As a direct result of Sin, sickness also became an earthly reality.

At the mention of obedience, I’ve noticed that people get their undies in a knot. Obey God? Obeying the law is negotiable. Just don’t get caught. Disobedience is considered a minor sin compared to Murder.   Truth is, Murder is disobedience to God. The earth groans, as if in pain, waiting for God to fix the faux pas that took place in the Garden.   Jesus died for the Sin of the World and then went around healing everyone that was sick.   He healed ALL that came to Him.   God’s will is for us to live in Health. He wants His temple/church to be without blemish. God wants His people, not only individuals but also the collective to be healed and healers.  Firmly established in the Truth of His Word and completing the work Jesus started.

When you pray for your healing or someone else’s, stand firm and don’t doubt. Encourage those who are waiting for their healing and build up their faith. Don’t try to explain why they aren’t healed yet. God holds all the answers to our problems. He knows why you are sick and He always wants to heal you. On the other hand, the devil wants to steal your health and your healing.

In the mind of a desperate but courageous woman, there was a knowing that if only she touched Jesus robe, she would be healed. Why would she think that? Weaving her way through the heavy crowd, she achieved her goal. Having felt power go out of him and after finding the culprit, Jesus praised her by saying, “Daughter, YOUR FAITH has healed you.” Yes the power went out of Jesus but she had the audacious faith to touch his robe directly resulting in her healing.   God gave us the power to create. It starts in our heart and comes out our mouth but all too often we declare our healing and ten minutes later say something completely contrary and out of faith which disqualifies us from receiving our healing.

If you want someone to blame for sin and sickness, it is Man and the devil.   Although, blame is ineffective and irrelevant, as Jesus pointed out before He healed the blind man.   The disciples wanted to know who was to blame for the man’s blindness but Jesus redirected them to the “solution.”

Another example of man trying to understand the events rather than trying to achieve the solution was in the story of Job.  Job’s friends were focused on blaming him for his misfortune.   Angry about the accusations, Job complained to God. With patience and kindness, God had some questions for Job, one of which was, “who was the one who created the heavens and the earth, Job? Was it you?” (I’m paraphrasing of course.)   God allowed Job’s suffering at the enemy’s request but once Job had been tested and found faithful, God restored him to more than he was before.   I do not believe that it was ever an option for God to leave Job in his misery.

Point being, we need to focus on God, who holds all the answers to man’s problems and direct other’s focus to the creator, who has a plan to fix it all.   God’s plan of repairing the world includes No more sickness, disease, sorrow or pain and just because the world has not been healed yet does not mean it won’t be healed. God is patient and does not want one of his created to perish so He is giving us time to get it right. DWJD (Do what Jesus did)

REMEMBER ME

Turn%20Your%20Eyes%20Upon%20Jesus[1]
Today, I praised God as we attended the Remembrance Day ceremony. My heart rejoiced because we can still sing “Oh Canada” with God in it; we can still read scripture in a public place; we can still display the cross as a symbol for the one’s that sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Jesus, being the first and greatest person who is worthy to receive praise and honor for the greatest sacrifice.
I ask the Lord to forgive our Mayor who references Muhammad and has the audacity to say that Canada’s reputation is made by man’s efforts. And while I’m at it, I want to ask the Lord to forgive our nation’s sins, past, present and FUTURE. Our good reputation as Peace Keepers is directly from God himself. Thank you, Lord for your mercy and your plans for the Canadian people.
We are entering into a very unsettling time, starting with the announcement of the recession and carrying on for the next few years but hopefully will be cut short by our diligent prayers. From the recent election results, it was evident that Canada is clearly divided in who they wanted to lead the country. This nation will be in for a rollercoaster ride with its new leading party. History has shown that every time the people chose to go their own direction which is away from God the country suffers. The mistakes or stains that this new leadership will make, that will be embraced by the citizens, will have dire consequences. I pray that the people’s eyes will be opened by the understanding of sin’s ramifications and we will seek the Lord, repent and be reconciled to Him once again.
Years ago, The Lord told me to go and buy a new paint brush. So I did. When I came home, He told me to paint the walls of my house with the blood of Jesus (imaginary blood, of course…this was a prophetic act that would protect my family against what was coming). After reading the book, “The Prayer of Jabez”, I wanted to impact my neighbors for the glory of God and the purposes of His kingdom, so I started praying the Jabez prayer faithfully for my whole block. Bad things started happening all around me. One neighbor was diagnosed with cancer and divorced her husband, another man had his wife committed for mental illness (I didn’t think she was ill at all), and yet another strong practicing “Jehovah’s Witness” family divorced and divided the family. Those are just a few of the stories I could tell. My point is that our prayers don’t always bring immediate gratification or positive results. Sometimes there is a sequence of events that must happen to bring people face to face with God.
Unfortunately the events that will transpire will keep Canadians focus off of their intended destiny, which is to bless Israel. The enemy’s plan is to keep our eyes on Canada’s problems. Israel is being attacked and it appears that they have been abandoned by allies who could help them fight off imposing threats. God promises that those who bless Israel will be blessed. Canada’s issues are easily remedied by focusing on God’s solutions. Please pray that our country will step up and rescue Israel and by doing so will reap the blessing that comes with it. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
There will be some who, though they have eyes cannot see and though they have ears cannot hear but after Canada has been faced with calamity, then they will know that I Am the Lord.

TRINITY?

Like the author of the novel, “The Shack”, I am going to give my personal account of the personalities of God.   After my curiosity got the best of me, I simply asked the Lord, “Why did you present yourself to us in three persons? In so far as I can see, it just confuses people?”   His reply, although not an all-inclusive answer, was the answer that I needed at the time.   He said, “We are the perfect family for you.  Where your father has been less than perfect, I Am the perfect Father.  Where your brother or sister or even your friend has hurt you, I Am the most excellent sibling who can heal your broken heart.  Where your earthly mother was unable, I Am the ideal comforter, counsellor and teacher who will never leave you.  I want to re-parent and raise you up to be all that I made you to be.”
I was not raised in a Christian home.  For a long time, I wondered who must have been praying for me because I had no blood relatives that were Christian either.   Since accepting Jesus into my heart when I was eight years old, I have experienced God’s omnipresence.   He has proven Himself faithful in his promise to never leave me.   Although Father God is Holy and unable to have any contact with Sin, His plan of salvation accommodates for His promises.   Jesus, as the Lamb who was slain for the sin of the world, bridges the gap between us and the Father.   Jesus, truly is the best brother.   His sacrifice made it possible for the Holy Spirit to remain with us always.   There have been times when my ignorant sin has created a feeling of having a thick fog between Him and I, but He never went anywhere.
From a young age, I was keenly interested in the prophetic and the church hasn’t always taught about that important subject.   As a teenager dabbling in the occult, God was faithful to show up and lure me away from Satan’s counterfeiting.   He lead me to my own deliverance and taught me how He wants to deliver others.   As soon as I request forgiveness and repent, He is there in a fraction of a second to cleanse me and work his mighty power in and through me for His purposes.   He wipes away that which separated us and lavishes me with His comfort.   The bible compares God the Father to an earthly father who gives good gifts to his children.   Like earthly parents, who allow their children to go their own way and make mistakes, God the Father is always watching over us, and with the Holy Spirit’s help, uses circumstances to draw us back home into His loving arms, where we come boldly before the throne of grace wearing the white Robe of Righteousness we purchased from Jesus as it says in Revelation 3:18.
In the same way as He lead Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, Holy Spirit is able to go with us into dark places and will use all events in our lives for the good of His Kingdom.   Thankfully, God looks at the heart of man. He sees my stupid naïve innocent heart and is constantly saving me from myself.   Praise God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for His auspicious plan!

OFFENSE

image064[1]

Recently, offense has been trying to take root in my life.   Last week, I was paid two very great insults that in all honesty hurt my feelings.   The person delivering the message, I believe to be somewhat innocent of the damage that was done but I know with certainty that the spirits behind the scheme know full well what their goal is.   You see the devil has a game plan.   If you are interested I would encourage you to read, “Screwtape Letters” by C.S. Lewis.   His novel, written from the point of view of Satan aka Uncle Wormwood, details how the enemy is teaching his nephew (lesser demon) to destroy relationships especially families using the divide and conqueror war strategy.

The devil’s lies keep my friend in a dungeon where the door is wide open. She is free to believe the truth and walk right out of there any time she wants but instead she subjects herself to wolves in sheep’s clothing who she values above her good friends.   Constantly looking for her worth in man keeps her defeated.   What she hasn’t experienced yet is that when she finds her worth in God her life will become abundant and full.   I feel sorry for my friend but in my experience when doing things for people from a pitying stand point usually ends up making me feel like I’ve just been kicked in the teeth.   As the old saying goes “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.”   I can spoon feed her truth but if she spits it out,  I must leave her to her own demise.   Each time I think of the pain her words caused me, I refuse to accept what was said and forgive those who hurt me.   If there is a smidgeon of truth in what was said I ask the Lord to show me my error and correct me.   As I’ve said before, it is often a repeated process before I feel completely free.

Always remember honoring others even when you want to kick them in the butt has a greater reward.
